French website Media Foot claim Arsenal and Liverpool are also showing interest in Rennes attacker Martin Terrier after reports this week said Manchester United and Tottenham had opened talks with the player’s representatives.
Terrier, 25, has been in electric form once again this season. Joining Rennes in the summer of 2020, he has taken his career to a new level. In his first season, he had 17 goal involvements in league and cup for the Ligue 1 side.
Second time round, he scored 21 goals and laid on seven assists in 46 games. This season, he continues to get better. Having played just 20 matches, the uncapped French attacker has 11 goals and five assists for Rennes.
Liverpool have just signed Cody Gakpo but they remain in the market for more attackers. Terrier is on their radar, while Arsenal are also interested. It comes after Media Foot said Tottenham and United had spoken to his agents.

Arsenal and Liverpool showing interest in Rennes attacker Terrier
European football expert Tim Williams has compared Terrier to Thierry Henry recently. The kind of player that can finish like the Arsenal legend, and is best-served coming off the left. In the summer, he was rated at £34million.
That value is only likely to be on the up given his 2022-23 form. So, who needs him most? Well, Liverpool will be unlikely to move even if they do have him on their radar, after signing Gakpo. Luis Diaz and Diogo Jota are out.
But when they return, the Reds will have plenty in the final third. Arsenal need wingers and Terrier might be the man they turn to if they cannot striker a deal for Mykhaylo Mudryk. Tottenham need more in attack. Richarlison is injured.
The Brazilian has a hamstring injury and Lucas Moura could leave this month. Bryan Gil is wanted by five La Liga clubs, as per ED. But with Manchester United losing Cristiano Ronaldo, you would suggest they need him most.
