Arsenal midfielder Joe Willock will hold talks over his future when he returns from holiday, the Athletic report.
Newcastle United have made no secret of their desire to sign the Arsenal youngster since he impressed on loan at St. James’ Park after moving in January.
Willock’s form in the North East may have made Arsenal think twice about selling the prospect.
However, it seems that nothing is off the table right now – with the club intending to speak to Willock soon about where his future lies.
First-team role needed
If Willock does stick around at Arsenal he will surely be expecting some level of first-team football.

The 21-year-old bagged eight goals in 14 Premier League games while on loan at Newcastle, which suggests he is more than capable of performing a role at this level.
Arsenal, though, seem to be aiming to strengthen in midfield – which may make it even harder for him to breakthrough at the Emirates Stadium.
That could leave Newcastle in a strong position to complete the transfer, as it would be a surprise if Willock, who was labelled ‘amazing’ by Allan Saint-Maximin (Stadium Astro), was content with going back to Arsenal simply to play a back-up role now.
