The agent of Moises Caicedo wants the Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder to move to Mauricio Pochettino’s Chelsea and not Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal, according to a report.
Football Transfers are reporting this afternoon that Arsenal are worried that they will miss out on the signing of Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder Moises Caicedo to London and Premier League rivals Chelsea.
Arsenal think that Chelsea will offer the midfielder more money and convince him to move to Stamford Bridge in the summer transfer window.
The report has added that the agent of the Ecuador international midfielder himself is pushing the Brighton star to pick Chelsea over Arsenal.
Arsenal or Chelsea for Moises Caicedo?
In our view, Arsenal should not get into a battle with Chelsea over wages for Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder Moises Caicedo.

We do not think that the Gunners should pay over the odds for the 21-year-old.
If Chelsea are willing to offer Caicedo more than Arsenal and the player himself wants a move for more money, then so be it.
Arsenal should stay true to what they believe in in regard to their wage structure and how they they value certain players.
Now, of course, we know that Caicedo is a very good midfielder.
Manchester United legend Roy Keane has described the midfielder as “strong and powerful”, while former Liverpool star John Barnes believes that Caicedo is a “fantastic” player.
However, Arsenal should not be forced to pay more than they want to.
They are a big enough club to attract other top midfielders.
