West Ham are interested in signing Everton target Robin Gosens from Inter Milan, a man who rejected Newcastle.
That is according to Gazzetta dello Sport in Italy, who believe the Hammers are in a position to make a ‘rich’ offer to Inter Milan for the Germany international.
West Ham & Everton battle for Gosens
Well, it was FC Inter News who revealed that Everton had made contact over a deal for Gosens.
Now, the Toffees face competition from a familiar face in David Moyes.
Gazzetta dello Sport believe Gosens is fighting for his future at the San Siro, despite only joining in a €25m (£22m) Gosens move from Atalanta in January 2022.
According to CBS Sports, the 28-year-old turned down Newcastle in favour of joining the Italian giants.

Gosens has only made one start in Serie A so far this season, with Federico Dimarco preferred at left wing-back.
Gazzetta dello Sport believe the Inter Milan No.8 must convince Simone Inzaghi that he is worth keeping at the San Siro before the World Cup break, or else a January exit is likely.
West Ham interest is bad news for Cresswell
In our view, Aaron Cresswell will not enjoy hearing what Gazzetta dello Sport have to say.
Gosens was one of the best left-backs in Europe before his move to Inter Milan, recording 50 goal involvements in 157 outings for Atalanta, although it simply hasn’t worked out for him at the San Siro.
However, he is more than capable of getting back to his best in a fresh environment.
Clearly, West Ham are plotting a revamp in the left-back department, so Cresswell – who has made 13 starts in the Premier League this season – is in danger of losing his position under Moyes.
Be sure to keep an eye on this situation, as Everton will presumably push West Ham all the way for Gosens.
