According to the Evening Standard, Tottenham target Filip Kostic is now tempted to join West Ham.
What’s the story?
Well, the Hammers have been pushing hard to sign the Serbia international, and recently saw a £12.5m bid rejected by Eintracht Frankfurt.
The Europa League winners would be willing to sell for £17m, as Kostic has already entered the final 12 months of his contract with the Bundesliga side.
As aforesaid, Tottenham are also believed to be monitoring the £43,000-a-week man.
However, it seems Kostic could be moving to east London instead of north London, as the 2022 Europa League Player of the Year is tempted by the prospect of joining West Ham.
In our view, that is something of a surprise, with all due respect to the Hammers.
Kostic has Champions League football on offer at Eintracht Frankfurt, while Juventus are also interested in him.

At West Ham, it has been said that a salary of £120,000-a-week awaits him, although he would have to take a step down into the UEFA Conference League.
Interest in Kostic comes after he scored seven goals in 42 appearances last season, while also providing 15 assists.
Tottenham must hijack West Ham deal for Filip Kostic
In our view, Fabio Paratici needs to hijack this deal before West Ham have a bid accepted by Eintracht Frankfurt.
Kostic is a highly versatile player, who could provide Antonio Conte with an effective option at left wing-back, attacking midfield and also as a left-sided forward.

Interestingly, the Serbian has matched Trent Alexander-Arnold and Jadon Sancho for league assists since August 2018, registering 44 setups in that timeframe.
For just £17m, it could go down as one of the deals of the summer.
Furthermore, Tottenham can offer Kostic Champions League football, so if he is tempted to join West Ham in the UEFA Conference League, we see no reason why Spurs can’t successfully gatecrash the party.
