Celtic look unlikely to hold on to their star man beyond this summer

With Odsonne Edouard looking unlikely to remain at Celtic beyond the current season, Milan have emerged as the the latest club to mentioned in connection with the Frenchman.
Edouard, who has been valued at £35m by The Daily Star, has been the subject of speculation linking him with the likes of Arsenal, West Ham and Real Madrid during his successful spell in Scotland.
The 23-year-old, who has scored 15 goals in just 10 matches for France’s under-21 side, is expected to move on in the summer.
According to the Sunday Post, he could be heading for Italy.

Serie A sides Juventus, Napoli, Roma, Atalanta, Lazio and Sampdoria have all been credited with interest in the former PSG striker, but the Scottish outlet says league leaders Milan “are viewed as the more likely buyers by sources in Italy.”
Edouard was brought to the club on loan by Brendan Rodgers in August 2017, and his move was made permanent in June 2018.
He was on the scoresheet at Celtic Park on Saturday, but ended up on the losing side as Neil Lennon’s men lost 2-1 to St Mirren.
That result means the champions remain 20 points behind Rangers in the Scottish Premiership, and Lennon was unimpressed with his side’s meek performance.

As quoted by BBC Sport, he said: “It was dreadful. We deserved what we got today. I would say this is the lowest point of the six years I have been manager here.
“This is a real test of adversity and you have to show strength. I want to show strength but I need some support and performances from players.
“Too many of them have been insipid this season, to say the least. Whatever walk of life you are in you need to have a form of professional pride. Especially at a club like this.”
