According to Calciomercato, West Ham and Leeds are interested in bringing Cagliari maestro Nahitan Nandez to the Premier League this summer.
If the Italian news outlet is to be trusted, then David Moyes or Jesse Marsch could soon land themselves a bargain.
What’s the story?
Well, Calciomercato believe the Uruguay international’s price tag could soon drop drastically.
There was plenty of Premier League interest in Nandez over the summer, and at one point, it seemed as if his €35m (£29m) valuation would be met.
However, the South American has suffered a difficult campaign, in which he’s been forced to deal with COVID-19 and a serious knee injury.
Now, Calciomercato believe his £29m price tag is not an accurate reflection of his current form, which could see West Ham and Leeds get a discount.
So far this season, Nandez has made 17 appearances in Serie A, although he has missed the last six league games with a knee issue.
Tottenham could outmuscle West Ham or Leeds

In our view, news of Nandez’s price tag dropping drastically could be of interest to Tottenham.
Back in the summer, it was said that Tottenham had agreed a deal with Cagliari for the 26-year-old midfield stalwart.
It eventually collapsed, although it will certainly be interesting to see if Spurs attempt to make another move with his valuation slowly decreasing.

Antonio Conte needs more numbers in midfield, that’s for sure.
The north Londoners offloaded Tanguy Ndombele and Giovani Lo Celso on loan deals in January, suggesting they have no future under the Italian.
Keep an eye on this situation, as Nandez could soon be playing in the Premier League.
