According to AS, Isco has requested to leave Real Madrid, with the Spanish champions giving him permission to depart amid talk of a potential move to Everton.
Sport recently revealed that Carlo Ancelotti has asked the Toffees to sign the Spain international, who was signed for Real Madrid by the Italian in 2013 from Malaga in a £23 million deal.
Isco – a four-time Champions League winner – is a tremendous player, although he isn’t enjoying the greatest of times at the Santiago Bernabeu.
In 30 appearances last season, the 28-year-old only scored three goals while assisting two more.
In six outings this term, the former Valencia man has no goal involvements.

AS state that Isco has a complicated relationship with Zinedine Zidane, hence his request to leave the Spanish capital in January which has been given the green light by Real Madrid.
Los Blancos certainly need to shift a few players, anyway.

AP News reported that La Liga clubs must trim their wage bills in the wake of the global pandemic, with Real Madrid needing to reduce salaries by 27%.
Ancelotti recently rubbished talk of a move for Isco when speaking to DIRECT TV Sports, although as with any manager, he’s hardly going to shout his interest from the rooftops if he is in fact keen.
