Tottenham Hotspur central defender Cameron Carter-Vickers wants to make his loan deal at Celtic permanent, according to The Daily Record.
Carter-Vickers spent the 2021-22 season on loan at Celtic from Tottenham.
The 24-year-old central defender was a regular in manager Ange Postecoglou’s team, and helped the Hoops win the Scottish Premiership and the Scottish League Cup this season.
The USA international scored four goals and gave one assist in 28 Scottish Premiership matches for Celtic this season.
Carter-Vickers also made five appearances in the Europa League, one in the Conference League, three in the Scottish League Cup, and three in the Scottish Cup.

The Daily Record have reported that the American ‘has his heart set on staying’ at Celtic long term, and that he has already agreed personal terms with the Scottish champions.
Celtic now have three weeks to conclude a £6 million deal with Tottenham before other clubs can make their move, according to the report.
Leaving Tottenham for good sensible for Carter-Vickers
In our view, it would make sense for Cameron Carter-Vickers to leave Tottenham Hotspur for good and make a permanent move to Celtic.
The American has failed to make a single appearance in the Premier League for Spurs, and he is 24 now.
The defender was a big success at Celtic this season, and it is clear that he will continue to flourish at Celtic Park.
Meanwhile, journalist Fabrizio Romano has reported on Twitter that Barcelona will not trigger their buy-option clause for Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Adama Traore.
According to a report in Sport in March 2022, Tottenham want to sign Traore from Wolves this summer.
