Rene Maric, the assistant manager to recently-sacked manager, Jesse Marsch has sent a message confirming his exit from Leeds United on Twitter.
While names such as Carlos Corberan, Mauricio Pochettino and Andoni Iraola have been linked with replacing the departed American boss, the man set to replace him is yet to be confirmed.
For the time being, it seems as if not just Jesse Marsch but his staff, including Rene Maric have left Leeds, as confirmed by the man himself in a message addressed to the fans on Twitter.

And it’s safe to say that the 30-year-old’s farewell note is one that just goes to show the fact that the Elland Road faithful made a way into his heart during his short spell at the club.
Rene Maric, the assistant of Jesse Marsch took to Twitter to send a message to the Leeds fans.
“Dear Leeds fans, sadly, my time at this historic club has come to an end. The Elland Road experience was unique and I can’t stress how privileged I felt in the dugout. The staff and people at the club carry this energy with them every day to work, and it’s what made working with them.so special”, Rene Maric initially told the Leeds fan in his Twitter message.

He continued, “I’m sorry that I couldn’t contribute more & further as it wasn’t possible to instill some of the different ideas the club envisioned for that great group of highly talented players that surely will be successful in the future. There is no doubt in my eyes.”
“Hopefully, he results will come already this week. Thanks to Andrea Radrizzani, Victor Orta and Angus Kinnear for the long support even under the pressure of the results and some performances. Even if it’s not MOT [Marching On Together] anymore, it’s still ALAW [All Leeds Aren’t We] and I will be at Elland Road between the fans to support this amazing club.”
It’s safe to say that Rene Maric can leave Leeds knowing that he was a class act, as the message on Twitter was one worthy of tipping one’s hat to.
