Alexander Isak is a name that many Arsenal fans grew familiar with over the summer transfer window as well as during the Euros for Sweden.
The Real Sociedad star was linked with a move to the Emirates as per AS and the Athletic. However, with Isak having an astronomical release clause of €90m (£77m), a transfer always looked unlikely for Arsenal.
Moreover, with the Gunners failing to ship off Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah, signing a striker was essentially out of the question given how bloated the position is for Mikel Arteta.
Indeed, Isak would have been a brilliant addition to Arsenal, and the attacker again proved his worth this weekend whilst on international duty for Sweden.
The 22-year-old striker was on the scoresheet for the Scandinavian country as Sweden secured a 3-0 win against Kosovo, with Isak bagging an outrageous goal.
The La Liga star cut in from the left wing before curling in a ludicrous shot from outside the area. It was one of the best goals of the evening and again highlighted just how impressive Isak is for Sweden.
Arsenal fans can’t believe what Isak did for Sweden

Moreover, as you would expect, Arsenal fans on social media couldn’t believe how good Isak’s goal was for Sweden.
Here’s what some supporters had to say on Twitter about the youngster’s stunning striker for Sweden against Kosovo…
