Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has raved about Stefan Bajcetic on the club’s official website and has said that he is “intelligent”.
Bajcetic is a rising star at Liverpool and has started to establish himself as a regular in the first team for the Merseyside club.
The 18-year-old Spanish midfielder was arguably the best player for Liverpool against Everton in the Merseyside derby this week.
The teenager is unlikely to be dropped anytime soon, and Klopp has spoken highly of him.
Jurgen Klopp on Liverpool midfielder Stefan Bajcetic
Klopp said about Bajcetic: “Top talent, super player, played really, really, really good for us so far. Since he is with us it’s a pure joy to work with him.
“I think the mix of Serbia and Spain is a good one for football… he’s a top, intelligent boy, how I said – a joy to work together.
“The interesting part is that his dad and Thiago’s dad played obviously together for Celta Vigo.
“So, not only Thiago, but Thiago as well took him under his wing. He has a great bunch of players around him he can learn from. So, yeah, an absolute joy to work with.”

Rising star
Us football fans tend to get carried away with promising young players, and we cannot be blamed if we arevery excited about Stefan Bajcetic.
The 18-year-old is not the most imposing of players physically, but, as we saw against Everton, he can hold his own in the middle of the park and can drive the team forward.
Bajcetic is also a versatile player who can operate in a number of positions in midfield.
And that is handy.
Now, of course, we have to be patient with Bajcetic.
We have to understand that the Spanish could have a dip in form and will make mistakes.
When that happens, Liverpool fans will have to support him.
