The Toronto Raptors have multiple potential trade packages to entice the LA Clippers into a Kawhi Leonard deal.
Leonard led the Raptors to their only championship win in franchise history in 2019, but left that summer to join the Clippers.
Seven years later, it seems the player and franchise could reunite, with the Raptors potentially having multiple trade packages for Leonard.
The Brandon Ingram option is what the Raptors might prefer
LA Clippers Receive: Brandon Ingram, Gradey Dick, 2028 First-Round Pick (TOR), 2031 First-Round Pick Swap (TOR)
Toronto Raptors Receive: Kawhi Leonard
This deal would likely be Toronto’s preferred package. Ingram is under contract for just two seasons and averaged 21.5 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 3.7 assists last season, giving the Clippers a high-production piece with future flexibility.
Dick averaged 6.0 points in a down season, but the 23-year-old is a high-potential sharpshooter who could thrive in LA.

Leonard’s expiring contract will likely make Toronto hesitant in offering many draft assets, and the pressure from the Aspiration investigation might make the Clippers hesitant to drag these negotiations out.
Leonard averaged 27.9 points, 6.4 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 1.9 steals in a career-high scoring year, so his value is as high as it’s been in years, which is why the Clippers might use their negotiating power to demand something else.
Raptors could have to part with RJ Barrett to make this work
LA Clippers Receive: RJ Barrett, Gradey Dick, Ja’Kobe Walter, 2028 First-Round Pick (TOR)
Toronto Raptors Receive: Kawhi Leonard
Initial reporting indicates the Clippers might prefer Barrett as the returning asset instead of Ingram, so this deal adds Barrett and Walter to make the salaries work.
This construction leaves a shooting guard/swingman hole for the Raptors. They might address it in the short term by switching Ingram’s position to accommodate Leonard, Barnes, and Collin-Murray Boyles as the defensive frontcourt.
The Clippers might have interest in Murray-Boyles as the prime returning piece, but it’s highly unlikely the Raptors will make him available in these talks.
Barrett would fit next to Darius Garland in the backcourt or be a wing option instead of the Clippers re-signing Bennedict Mathurin.
