Jake Paul’s list of the most entertaining NBA players includes four current stars and one deep-cut throwback for casual fans.
Jake Paul’s most famous moment among basketball fans came when he knocked out Nate Robinson in a boxing match.
However, the boxer and entertainer seems to be an active fan of the sport.
Jake Paul’s list of most entertaining players includes Luka Doncic
Paul appeared on Thanasis Antetokounmpo’s ‘Thanalysis’ podcast, where he revealed the five players he loves watching. He named Luka Doncic, LaMelo Ball, Draymond Green, and Ja Morant, alongside Metta World Peace (now Metta Sandiford-Artest).
“LaMelo Ball… the way he moves on the court is f—– crazy. Metta World Peace. Draymond Green… when people get into fights, that should be a part of sports, just let it happen. Ja Morant… his dunks are pretty surreal. Luka Doncic… I like when he talks s— to the people in the crowd.”
The reasoning for each inclusion makes perfect sense.
Jake Paul’s NBA five mixes aggression with skill
LaMelo is among the flashiest guards in the modern NBA and was recently traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves to help the franchise take the next step in contention. He averaged 20.1 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 7.1 assists last season with the Hornets.
Artest and Green are both defensive enforcers who never ran from an on-court confrontation. Morant is similar in personality, but his on-court explosion is what caught Paul’s eye.

Morant averaged 19.5 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 8.1 assists in an injury-riddled season last year, while Green averaged 8.4 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 5.5 assists and missed the postseason with the Warriors.
Doncic is easily the best individual player here, averaging 33.5 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 8.3 assists last season. The Lakers guard is known to be an on-court trash talker, even including fans in his on-court jibes when they rile him up.
These five guarantee entertainment when they play, and that’s what Paul appreciates. His answer doesn’t feature obvious names and seems specifically tailored to Paul’s tastes and preferences.
