Some Tottenham fans on social media aren’t too impressed with the idea of either Ralph Hasenhuttl or Julian Nagelsmann taking over at the club.
The Athletic’s Jack Pitt-Brooke has named them as two managers Tottenham are impressed with, and as pressure ramps up on Mourinho, speculation has begun to run rampant.
However, despite the fact Mourinho isn’t the most popular man in north London at the moment, Spurs fans aren’t keen to see him replaced by either Hasenhuttl or Nagelsmann.
We can understand why as well.
Both are quality managers, but Hasenhuttl’s stock has fallen in recent weeks after a run of poor results, including another 9-0 thrashing, while Nagelsmann remains young and inexperienced at the top level.
It’s hard to argue that either of those men have a better CV than Jose Mourinho, and some Spurs fans would seemingly rather keep Mourinho than ditch him for Hasenhuttl or Nagelsmann.
Whether or not either of those two take the reins at Spurs remains to be seen, but it seems as though it wouldn’t be a popular decision if they were appointed.
