Raphinha has told BBC Sport West Yorkshire that he remains fully focused on Leeds United and is concentrating on making Leeds fans happy. The Brazilian sensation continues to be linked with the likes of Liverpool.

Raphinha, 25, has been in sensational form ever since he joined Leeds from French club Rennes. The Brazil international has had a hand in 10 goals in 19 Premier League appearances this season, scoring eight and creating two.

That form has of course, attracted interest from Liverpool and other clubs. Raphinha, who is represented by Portuguese legend Deco and his Father, has a contract at Elland Road until the summer of 2024.

A summer move has been widely touted for Raphinha, with Leeds fans fully aware that the ex-Sporting Lisbon star that he will eventually leave the Yorkshire club. Raphinha has told BBC WYS that he is focused on Leeds.

“I’ve got a contract until 2024, my head is only focused on Leeds. As for contractual matters, I leave that to my agent, my Dad. I just focus on playing football, and making Leeds fans happy; goals, assists and getting wins.”

Raphinha on future: Can Leeds keep Brazilian star this summer?

Leeds have got a superstar in Raphinha and Victor Orta deserves enormous credit for signing him for just £17million. The chances are, that when Raphinha does go, Leeds will end up tripling, or quadrupling their money.

The Whites are expected to build in the summer, and spend big, as they did in their initial summer after promotion. While they have signed Dan James, Junior Firpo and Jack Harrison permanently, this summer will be busy.

To finance that and adhere to financial fairplay, it might be that Leeds give in and sell Raphinha. His form for Brazil is likely to attract European interest too, with Bayern Munich a potential option. One to keep an eye on.
