Rangers left-back Borna Barisic is happy at Ibrox following a bid from Watford, according to Football Scotland.

Football Scotland have reported that Premier League club Watford made a bid of £2 million for Rangers defender Barisic last month.

Rangers, who won the Scottish Premiership title last season, turned it down.

The Gers reportedly value the Croatia international left-back at £5 million.

Football Scotland have added that Barisic’s current contact at Rangers runs until 2024, and that he is happy at the Gers.

The left-back is enjoying life in Glasgow, according to the report.

The Scottish Sun reported this month that Barisic’s representatives ‘have been touting the defender around a host of clubs down south and on the continent’.

What should Rangers left-back Borna Barisic do?

In our view, Barisic should stay at Rangers until the end of the season.

The 29-year-old is an important player for the Gers, who are aiming to win the Scottish Premiership title again this season.

Barisic has made 12 appearances in the Scottish Premiership for Rangers so far this season.

The Rangers no. 31 has provided two assists in those games.

Barisic has also played six times in the Europa League so far this campaign.

In our opinion, Barisic should finish the season with Rangers.

If the left-back plays well in the coming months, then he will have a lot of offers in the summer of 2022 and could get a move to a bigger club than Watford, who could get relegated from the Premier League at the end of the campaign.
