Rangers fans have taken to Twitter to react after the Daily Record revealed that Watford had made a £2m bid for Borna Barisic.
What’s the story?
Well, as one fan below wrote, this is just insulting from Watford.
The Premier League outfit unsurprisingly saw their offer rejected by the Gers, who are hoping to receive £5m for Barisic.
Watford returned to Ibrox with an improved offer, which included a further £1.5m to be paid in bonuses.
However, Rangers dismissed that bid as well.
The £16m sale of Nathan Patterson to Everton – a club-record departure – means Giovanni van Bronckhorst is under no pressure to sell.
In fact, it is expected that the Dutchman will be allowed to spend a portion of that £16m on new signings this month, according to the Daily Record.
Rangers should be insulted by Borna Barisic bid

Back in August 2018, Rangers signed Barisic from Osijek for £2m.
Fast forward to now, and the left-back has amassed a total of 23 caps for Croatia, while scoring seven goals and providing 34 assists in 134 games for Rangers.
Barisic has also proven himself to be a competent performer in the Europa League.
Despite all the 29-year-old has achieved, and he fact he has a contract until June 2024, Watford still believe he’s worth what Rangers paid years ago.

In our view, that doesn’t make sense.
In fact, Barisic is arguably worth more than the £5m valuation Rangers have placed on him.
Quite frankly, Rangers should’ve put the phone down as soon as the Hornets made their offer.
For now, let’s see what the Rangers fans on Twitter have been saying about the rumour coming from the Premier League…
