Rangers are still looking to bring Coventry City midfielder Gustavo Hamer up to Ibrox having eyed him up earlier this year.
That’s according to Give Me Sport, who claim that Hamer is still a player Rangers want to sign even after adding to their midfield this summer.
Nnamdi Ofoborh has arrived on a free transfer from Bournemouth, whilst John Lundstram has arrived from Sheffield United.
Yet with Ofoborh experiencing heart problems, Rangers could dip back into the market for another options, hence links to Heerenveen star Joey Veerman.
This time it’s Hamer being linked once again, having excelled with Coventry City in the Championship last season.
Signed from PEC Zwolle last summer, the Brazil-born talent recorded five goals and three assists in his first season of English football.

Backed for the Premier League by his own manager Mark Robins, Hamer is technically gifted and energetic in midfield, so it’s no shock that he is attracting interest.
Rangers wanted Hamer in January, so it makes sense that he is still on the radar for director of football Ross Wilson.
Maybe Hamer is a backup target to Veerman, maybe he will be wanted if Glen Kamara leaves, but Hamer is a name for Rangers fans to keep an eye on.
