Rangers star Glen Kamara is raring to go after rejoining his Ibrox teammates following Euro 2020 – and the Finnish international admits it is “good to be back” as the Light Blues prepare for their final pre-season fixtures.

Kamara played his first 45 minutes of the season for Rangers against Arsenal last weekend and will be involved in this weekend’s fixtures with Brighton and Real Madrid, fresh from impressing for Finland at the Euros.
The Ibrox midfielder had some time off following the finals but was right back into games after he returned to training at the end of last week.
After being given a plan to work to by the Rangers coaching staff, Kamara feels ready for the new season and a crack at qualifying for the Champions League.
“It has been good being back and we had a game straight away for me so it was good to get 45 minutes under my belt and it is good to be back and see the boys,” Kamara told Rangers TV.
“It was nice to be back at home and spend some time with family and friends and all in all I have had a nice little break and I am ready to get back to work.
“The staff and coaches give us good offseason programmes and they keep us on our toes so I am ready to go.”
Kamara will be key alongside Rangers new boy in Gers’ title defence
Alongside John Lundstram, Kamara will be key for Steven Gerrard’s Rangers side in their defence of the Scottish Premiership this season.

Injury worries over Ryan Jack while Steven Davis and Scott Arfield aren’t getting any younger will increase the importance of Kamara and Lundstram.
With just over a week until the league season gets underway, Kamara’s performances could go a long way in deciding where the title goes.
