Crocked Scotland and Rangers midfielder Ryan Jack is excited at the prospect of seeing ‘big-game player” Kieran Tierney return for Scotland in tonight’s Euro 2020 clash with England at Wembley as the Arsenal star looks set to be named in Steve Clarke’s starting XI.
Tierney missed the opening game through injury as the Czech Republic won 2-0 at Hampden but Clarke has confirmed that the £25million defender will be fit for the clash with the Auld Enemy.
Jack highlighted the way Tierney links with Scotland skipper Andy Robertson and create chances and is sure the Arsenal star is just as excited at his potential return for Clarke’s side.
“Obviously, I’ve seen reports that Kieran could come back into the side, ” Jack told Sky Sports. “I think that’s our strength, down the left-hand side and you have seen the chances him and Robertson can create for Scotland, even though Kieran plays left centre-half.
“He can charge on and get forward, create a lot of chances. For me, I’m looking forward to that. I’m excited for him to come back into the team. He’s a big-game player and I’m sure he’s looking forward to this.”

Big gamble to throw Tierney in for Euro 2020 clash
The prospect of Tierney returning to the starting XI will likely see Leeds United’s Liam Cooper axed for the Euro 2020 clash tonight.
With Scotland needing to take something from the game, Tierney’s return will be a massive gamble if he’s not 100% fit.
If Tierney does start though, Scotland won’t have any room for excuses for the sort of performance given against the Czechs.
