Rangers fans have been patiently waiting for the club’s new home kit release – and after it was launched this afternoon in an email to MyGers members, fans on Twitter are undecided on the new kit.

Confirming the image leaked last week, the new Castore home kit for Steven Gerrard’s Scottish champions features a white collar and cuffs, thin pinstripes and gold detailing on both sponsors’ logos – as well as the club badge.

One major change to the kit – other than the gold lettering and badge – is the removal of the five stars from above the scroll crest, with a ribbon marking the club’s 150th anniversary added below.

Steven Gerrard’s side have yet to confirm their pre-season plans with a friendly clash with Arsenal the only confirmed fixture for the Light Blues so far.

The Gers’ title win will see them return to the Champions League for the first time in a decade and the Ibrox side will learn their opponents when the Third Qualifying Round draw is made on July 19.

Fans will be able to get their hands on the new kit tomorrow online and instore from 8am.

As the club launched the first of four new kits this season, fans weren’t sold on the new home kit – with some not keen on the addition of the gold detailing.

That said, one fan summed it up perfectly when he said the internet would break at around 8am tomorrow as fans rush to get their hands on the new kit.
