Rangers want Malik Tillman but the Bayern Munich talent looks set for a move to England rather than Ibrox this summer.
The Gers have added another signing this week with Schalke winger Rabbi Matondo arriving on a permanent basis.
That follows the strong business from last week as striker Antonio Colak and playmaker Tom Lawrence both arrived.
Rangers aren’t finished there though and are still hunting for new signings, especially in light of Joe Aribo’s move to Southampton.
Finding strong, technical and versatile players like Aribo isn’t easy and Rangers may miss out on a potential replacement.

The name emerging earlier this week was Tillman, with Rangers allegedly keen on bringing him to Ibrox.
The Daily Mail reported that Rangers were chasing a permanent deal for the Bayern Munich talent and that he was keen on the move to Glasgow.
However, it looks like Rangers are now set to miss out.
Sky Germany report that Tillman is ‘on the verge’ of leaving Bayern on a one-year loan deal.
It’s stated that Tillman is in talks with various Premier League clubs and England now looks to be his most likely destination.
Tillman, 20, hit four goals and four assists in 15 Regionalliga Bayern games last season but played just 102 Bundesliga minutes.
It’s clear that Tillman just isn’t in the immediate first-team plans at Bayern and he needs to leave in search of first-team action.
Rangers were hoping to win that race but they appear to have been gazumped by teams in the Premier League.
The report doesn’t name the clubs interested in Tillman, but we wonder if Leeds United may be one of them.
Boss Jesse Marsch will be familiar with American talents like Tillman and he has ties to the German game from his time at RB Leipzig.
Tillman’s incredible versatile to play in midfield, out wide, behind a striker or in attack – as well as his strong 6ft 1in frame – made him ideal to replace Aribo – but it looks like Rangers will have to go back to the drawing board.
