Rangers continued their march towards the Scottish Premiership title on Saturday with a 5-0 win over Ross County, and that result has ensured their high position in another table.

Victory over the Staggies meant Steven Gerrard’s men remain unbeaten in 25 league matches this season. having dropped just six points.

The 1-1 draw against Motherwell earlier month saw points dropped by the leaders for the first time since September, and that superb form has seen them accumulate a 23-point lead.

It’s also earned them a place in the top 20 of Transfermarkt’s international form table.

The rankings are compiled by assessing the results of teams in every top-flight league across the world over the last 10 fixtures.

A run of nine wins in their last 10 league matches sees Rangers sit 13th in the table. Goal difference separates the Ibrox side from eight sides above them, with only Budućnost Podgorica of Montenegro, Millonarios of Colombia, Gomel of Belarus and leaders Shan United of Myanmar having won 10 out of 10.

Atletico Madrid sit in 20th, with Manchester City’s record of eight victories from their last 10 leaving them in 23rd.

There is no place in the top 100, however, for Celtic.

Neil Lennon’s men are yet to register a win in 2021, with a record of one defeat and three draws in their last four league matches.

Rangers, meanwhile, have confirmed a pre-contract agreement with Aberdeen attacker Scott Wright.

The 23-year-old will arrive at Ibrox in the summer.

Speaking on the official Rangers website, Rangers Sporting Director Ross Wilson said: “We look forward to Scott joining Rangers and we are excited to see him continue to develop his talent working with Steven and all of our staff.

“Scott fits our football identity and our plan for the development of our squad.

“Adding Scott, as a young Scottish player, who will continue to enhance his talent here, is part of our plan.

“I’ve enjoyed all of our conversations and we can see that Scott is a very humble young man who is both determined and excited to be part of what we are building here at Rangers.

“We thank Aberdeen for their cooperation and professionalism during this period.”
