Charlie Gilmour won’t be playing for Rangers anytime soon.
Fans of the Ibrox club urged the 20-year-old midfielder to move to Glasgow earlier this summer, after being released by Arsenal.
But Gilmour, a lifelong Rangers supporter, has bigger plans on the horizon after signing for Premier League side Norwich City this afternoon.

The good news for Rangers fans is that they have so many quality midfield options that Gilmour really isn’t needed.
Steven Gerrard signed Joe Aribo last month and with the likes of Scott Arfield and Steven Davis there, the young Scot might not even get a game at Ibrox these days.
His grandfather once said that he wanted Gilmour to play for Rangers one day and, being 20, it might happen at some point in the future.
