Gilmour has made no secret of his feelings towards Rangers, and frequently posts about Steven Gerrard’s Ibrox side on social media.

Some Rangers fans are urging a player with a soft spot for the Gers to join them at Ibrox after his release by Arsenal on Friday.
Although it is the Premier League side he has supported since childhood, Charlie Gilmour has made no secret of his feelings towards Rangers, which he frequently broadcasts on social media.
And despite having only played twice for Arsenal, many of a Gers persuasion are already familiar with the 20-year-old central midfielder – who was born in Brighton but has Scottish ancestry.
Gilmour’s tweet confirming his departure from the Emirates Stadium has therefore failed to go unnoticed in Rangers territory.
This is how the Ibrox faithful are replying to the Scotland youth international – who is not related to the Chelsea and former Auchenhowie prospect, Billy:
Despite having two games left to play this season, Rangers have already agreed deals to sign three new players – Jordan Jones, Jake Hastie and Steven Davis – in the summer transfer window.
Each of Gilmour’s senior Arsenal appearances came during the Gunners’ ongoing Europa League campaign.

Should Rangers make a move for the departing Gunners midfielder?
