Rangers’ Fashion Sakala is attracting interest with French side Auxerre understood to be interested in taking him on loan this summer.
The Gers swooped to sign Sakala last summer as his contract with Oostende ran out.
The Zambian striker has impressed in Belgium, hitting 31 goals in 102 games for Oostende including 16 goals in his final season with the club.
Rangers were more than happy to land Sakala on a free transfer but they haven’t quite seen the best of him.
There have been glimpses of Sakala’s quality with his pace causing mayhem at times, but it just hasn’t been consistent enough.

There are now questions over his future as Auxerre are interested in signing him.
Homme du Match in France report that Auxerre have asked Rangers about a season-long loan deal for Sakala.
It’s stated that Auxerre really appreciate Sakala’s qualities but a deal will be difficult to pull off this summer.
Auxerre have just won promotion from Ligue 2 and are finally back in France’s top flight.
Sakala, 25, could be given a starring role with Auxerre as they look to achieve survival next season.
That’s something that may appeal, but Sakala is surely unwilling to give up on his Rangers career after just one campaign.
Hailed for his ‘great pace’ by former Celtic man Jack Hendry, Sakala certainly has plenty to offer this Rangers team.
12 goals and seven assists in 50 games for Rangers isn’t a bad record by any stretch, but the Gers will expect much more from him moving forward if they are to snub Auxerre’s advances.
