The Rangers manager Steven Gerrard is said to want the youngster on loan at Ibrox.

Rangers fans are reacting to reports linking Steven Gerrard’s side with a move for Everton’s Kieran Dowell.
The Daily Mirror reported earlier this week that the Rangers manager is ‘considering a shock loan bid’ for Dowell, as he looks to add some creativity to his Ibrox ranks.
Dowell has only played twice for Everton this season, totalling 135 minutes of EFL Cup football.
And a loan to Rangers could appeal to the 21-year-old, who scored 10 goals and created five while on loan to Nottingham Forest last season.

But how do those of a Gers persuasion feel about the speculation? (A: Somewhat encouraged.)
This is what they’re saying on Twitter:
The on-loan Rangers defender, Joe Worrall, and the former Ibrox winger, Barrie McKay, were teammates of Dowell at the City Ground.
The Lancastrian’s childhood idol was a certain Mikel Arteta, the Basque former central midfielder who enjoyed successful playing spells at Rangers and Everton before taking up his current role as Manchester City’s assistant coach.

Would the Everton talent be a good addition for Rangers?
