The Rangers manager Steven Gerrard is said to want more creativity at Ibrox.

The Rangers manager, Steven Gerrard, ‘is considering a shock loan bid’ for Everton’s Kieran Dowell, according to the Daily Mirror (December 3rd liveblog, 15:09).
The newspaper states that Gerrard is keen to strengthen at Ibrox in January, despite having led Rangers to the top of the Scottish Premiership.
And it adds that his previous complaints about a lack of creativity have put Dowell, an attacking midfielder, on Rangers’ radar.
Dowell has only played twice for Everton this season, totalling 135 minutes of EFL Cup football.
And a loan to Rangers could appeal to the 21-year-old, who scored 10 goals and created five on loan to Nottingham Forest last season.

The on loan Gers defender, Joe Worrall, and the former Ibrox winger, Barrie McKay, were teammates of Dowell at the City Ground.
Would the Everton talent be a good addition for Rangers?
