Rangers full-back James Tavernier
Rangers defender James Tavernier is one of the best players in the Scottish Premiership, and the performances of 26-year-old right-back for the Ibrox club so far this season have been brilliant.
Tavernier – who has been on the books of Rangers since the summer of 2015 when he moved from Wigan Athletic for a transfer fee reported by The Scottish Sun to be worth £200,000 – has been superb for Steven Gerrard’s side in the Scottish Premiership and in the Europa League so far this campaign.
The former Newcastle United right-back was the subject of intense speculation in the summer transfer window, with The Mirror claiming that Everton, Burnley and Swansea City wanted him (click here to read more).
According to TEAMtalk, West Bromwich Albion made an offer of £3 million for the 26-year-old in the summer (click here to read more). It was also reported that Rangers wanted as much as £7m for Tavernier.

Tavernier did not leave Rangers and signed a new contract with the Glasgow giants last month, but speculation on the future of the star full-back has already started.
According to a report in The Daily Mail today, Brighton and Hove Albion are interested in Tavernier.
It has been reported that the Premier League club want to secure the services of the Englishman in the January transfer window, and sent scouts to watch him in action for Rangers against Rapid Vienna at Ibrox in the Europa League on Thursday.
