It’s been a superb season at home and abroad for Rangers, and their form has been reflected in an international table.

In the Scottish Premiership, Steven Gerrard’s side find themselves 18 points clear of rivals Celtic with just eight matches remaining, having gone unbeaten in their opening 30 and dropped just eight points.

Their form in the Europa League has also drawn plaudits, with eight wins and two draws from their 10 European fixtures. Having held off Benfica, Standard Liege and Lech Poznan to finish top of Group D, they’ve since gone on to beat Royal Antwerp 4-3 in Belgium.

If Gerrard’s men finish the job at Ibrox on Thursday night they’ll be through to the last 16, and could be in the draw with the likes of Ajax, Arsenal, Manchester United and Roma.

In a Transfermarkt international form table based on results across all competitions throughout the season, Rangers are comfortable leaders.

Having won 35 matches this season and lost just one – December’s shock 3-2 Betfred Cup defeat against St Mirren – the Ibrox side top the table with 111 points.

Their nearest competitor is Brazilian side Palmeiras on 98 points, followed by English Premier League leaders Manchester City on 96.

Despite an inconsistent season and a series of disappointing results in Europe, Celtic are in seventh place with 83 points.

Bayern Munich are 10th, with Manchester United 13th, Tottenham 18th, PSG 21st, Milan 23rd and Barcelona 24th.

When narrowed down to the last 10 matches, Rangers slip down the table to 29th on account of draws against Motherwell and Hamilton Accies.

Pep Guardiola’s City top the table with a 100% record in their 10 most recent outings, while United drop out of the top 100 entirely.
