Ex-Tottenham player Ramon Vega expects his former club to lose one of their top talents to Bayern Munich in the summer.

Spurs’ 2025/26 season has not gone to plan, both on and off the pitch, with fans becoming more frustrated by the day.

Head coach Thomas Frank has come under scrutiny for his defensive approach, while the board has drawn criticism for their lack of investment.

Vega is now predicting more bad news for Tottenham supporters as a future star could leave for Bayern in the next transfer window.

Ramon Vega expects Luka Vuskovic to leave Tottenham

Tottenham loanee Luka Vuskovic has been one of the best players in the Bundesliga this season during his spell at Hamburg.

The 18-year-old central defender is now reportedly subject to interest from German football giants Bayern Munich.

Ramon Vega is convinced that Vuskovic will never play a competitive game for Spurs and will instead join Bayern in the summer.

He tweeted: “This player is not coming back to Spurs! Another of many players the Spurs had a chance with, but they made the wrong decision.

“This is an example of the problem Spurs have been having within the football department! A total neglect.”

“They will make good money, for sure, but there’s no football direction within the club. Off to Bayern he goes, no wonder I will not blame him.”

Vega then revealed that he had actually heard about Bayern’s interest in signing Vuskovic firsthand.

“Let’s just say I’ve heard it through the grapevine,” he added. “Of course, Spurs still have to accept the fee they are offering.”

Lothar Matthaus rates Luka Vuskovic highly

One of Vuskovic’s biggest fans is Bayern Munich and Germany legend Lothar Matthaus, who now works as a Bundesliga pundit.

The World Cup-winning midfielder believes that Vuskovic is even more “intelligent” than he was in his prime.

“At the age of 18, he plays as if he had already played three World Cups!” he said on Sky Sport DE.

“Even when I was 30, I didn’t see what he saw at 18. This player is SO intelligent.”

With comments like this, it is no surprise that Bayern are considering a move for him when the opportunity arises.
