Some Tottenham Hotspur fans on social media have been reacting after Antonio Conte gave an update on Cristian Romero’s fitness.
The Italian revealed in his pre-match press conference the injury Romero picked up on international duty looks serious and, as you can imagine, Spurs fans aren’t best pleased.
Romero was one of Tottenham’s marquee signings in the summer but, after a combination of injuries, quarantines and managerial changes, he’s been unable to build any momentum at his new club.
It looks as though the Argentine is now set for another spell on the sidelines and Spurs fans are gutted. They’re desperate for the centre-back to be a success in north London.
Sadly, it’s going to take a little bit of time for Romero to show his new manager what he can do.
