Brentford have joined the list of clubs chasing Rangerrs midfielder Glen Kamara, as the newly-promoted Bees prepare for their first season in the Premier League.
Kamara, who has seen his reputation blossom after three impressive performances for Finland at Euro 2020, has been linked with a host of sides in England and abroad as Rangers fans fret over his future.
The Daily Mail claim that the Light Blues want “over £10million” for Kamara – which they say appeals to both Brentford and Watford.
Kamara has become a massive favourite at Ibrox since moving to Ibrox for £50k from Dundee in 2019, and a £10million-plus sale would be a massive profit for Steven Gerrard’s side.
However, replacing Kamara ahead of the Gers’ title defence and return to the Champions League would be a tough task.
Rangers star has been one of Scottish football’s best-ever ‘bargain’ buys

The Finn’s contract at Ibrox runs until the summer of 2023 but after talks over a new deal appeared to have stalled, Gers fans have been concerned over Kamara’s Rangers future.
His performances at Euro 2020 did little to help matters for the Rangers support, with some predicting they wouldn’t see Kamara in a Gers shirt again.
While they did get to see him in the promo images for the new 2021/22 home kit, they might not get to see him in action wearing it.
