Arsenal will face West Ham United, Brighton and Hove Albion and Newcastle United in their next three Premier League fixtures.

Below, we predict how the Gunners are going to fare.

Arsenal vs West Ham United, December 26

Arsenal have been superb in the Premier League so far this season and are five points clear at the top of the table at the moment. Now, of course, defending champions Manchester City, who are currently second in the standings, will remain the favourites to win the title in many followers’ eyes, but there is no doubt that the Gunners could go all the way.

However, winning against West Ham United even at the Emirates Stadium in North London on Boxing Day will not be easy. Yes, West Ham are not having the best of times at the moment, but David Moyes’s side will be determined to kick off the festive period with a win in the London derby.

We think that Arsenal will have to work extremely hard and have to compensate for the absence of Gabriel Jesus to win against West Ham. The Gunners will win the London derby, but it is going to be far from easy.

Prediction: Arsenal 2-1 West Ham United

Brighton and Hove Albion vs Arsenal, December 31

Brighton and Hove Albion are doing extremely well at the moment, and despite the departure of Graham Potter to Chelsea, the Seagulls are not showing any signs of slowing down. They could certainly end up in the top half of the Premier League table this season.

Playing at home against Arsenal will give Brighton an advantage, but we do think that the Gunners will get the job done in the end. It will not be easy, but Arsenal are defensively solid and are also good in midfield.

Prediction: Brighton and Hove Albion 1-2 Arsenal

Arsenal vs Newcastle United, January 3

Like Arsenal, Newcastle United are doing better than expected at the moment. Eddie Howe’s side went into the break for the 2022 Qatar World Cup in the Premier League top four, and the Magpies will be keen on staying in the UEFA Champions League places for the rest of the season.

Newcastle will know that it will be tough to win at the Emirates Stadium, but they are on a high now and could do it. The Magpies have conceded just 11 goals in the Premier League so far this season, and if they are able to stay strong at the back, then they could sneak in a goal at the other end.

Prediction: Arsenal 0-1 Newcastle United
