Arsenal will be looking to make a statement of intent on Sunday evening by beating Tottenham Hotspur in the North London derby.

The Gunners will head into the Premier League match at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on the back of a 4-1 victory over Rapid Vienna at the Emirates Stadium in the Europa League.

However, last weekend, Mikel Arteta’s side went down 2-1 to Wolverhampton Wanderers at home and will be determined to bounce back in the league by picking up maximum points against bitter North London rivals Tottenham.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang did not play against Rapid, and the Gabon international striker is likely to return to the starting lineup.

Thomas Partey has trained with the Gunners’ squad, and manager Arteta could decide to include the Ghana international defensive midfielder in the starting lineup as he seems to have recovered from his thigh injury. It will be a big call.

Arteta will also have to make a big decision on Willian. The former Chelsea star – described as “dangerous” by Tottenham head coach Jose Mourinho in Football.London – has not been great for Arsenal this season, and 20-year-old winger Reiss Nelson could take his place on the right of the front-three.

This is how Arsenal could line up against Tottenham in the North London derby on Sunday evening:
