Arsenal will be looking to return to winning ways on Sunday when they take on Manchester City at the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League.
The Gunners will head into the match against City in North London on the back of a 1-1 draw with Benfica away from home in the Europa League.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is likely to make a few changes to the team that started against Benfica.
Kieran Tierney – described by former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson as “phenomenal” while speaking to The Lockdown Theatre in January 2021 – could return to the starting lineup and replace Cedric Soares at left-back.
Another change at the back could be Rob Holding replacing David Luiz as the partner to Gabriel.
Arteta could make some big changes in attack as well. Bukayo Saka has been playing a lot of football recently, and the 19-year-old winger could be given a rest.

Martin Odegaard did well against Benfica, and the 22-year-old Norway international attacking midfielder – signed on loan from Real Madrid in the January transfer window – is likely to retain his place in the starting lineup.
Brazilian forward Gabriel Martinelli – who is only 19 years of age and was described as “exciting” by former Tottenham Hotspur striker Peter Crouch on BT Sport 1 (12:03pm, January 23, 2021) – should slot in on the left, with Alexandre Lacazette leading the line instead of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
This is how Arsenal could line up against City today:
Predicted Arsenal XI: Leno; Bellerin, Holding, Gabriel, Tierney; Ceballos, Xhaka; Pepe, Odegaard, Martinelli; Lacazette
