Some Arsenal fans on social media are over the moon after reports emerged stating that Emi Buendia has moved to the top of their list of playmaker targets.
The Argentine has long been admired by Arsenal, but the Gunners now look to be really stepping up their interest in the Argentine.
As you can imagine, the Arsenal fanbase were sent into a bit of a frenzy by this news, and to be fair we can understand why.
The Norwich City star has contributed to 31 goals in the Championship this season, and with Arsenal desperately needing some more creativity in their side, signing a player with 16 assists this term would make a lot of sense.
Fans were over the moon to hear that Buendia could be signing this summer, with some fans claiming that the 24-year-old is actually an improvement on Martin Odegaard.
Whether or not Buendia signs for the Gunners this summer remains to be seen, but if he does arrive in north London it will certainly be a popular arrival amongst the fanbase.
