Gianluigi Buffon has compared Harry Kane to Gabriel Batistuta.

Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane is showing no sign of slowing down after his record setting 2017.
His goal away to Juventus in the Champions League was evidence of his ability to step up when it matters most.
Earlier this season Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino compared his ability to his former teammate Gabriel Batistuta.
He told Goal: “Harry can be better. He is a killer, Harry Kane. Look at the goals he scored the last years! Mental level? Yes. Absolutely. Maybe they have different characteristics but I think he is in that level, with Batistuta.”

Now he looks a little more shrewd after Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon made the same comparison.
Buffon told Tuttomercatoweb: “There are many similarities between Harry and Gabriel. Kane has been living an extraordinary period of physical form for a year and a half, which inevitably becomes psychological. It’s easier for things to go well and you can do things that are unthinkable.”
Kane has been racking up the compliments in recent weeks, with Andriy Shevchenko, Ronaldinho and Luis Figo among the names to praise his ability.
Buffon is another esteemed name to add to Kane’s list of admirers, and the Spurs star will want to live up to his billing at Wembley this evening.
