PSG have reportedly joined the likes of Liverpool and Manchester City in the race for AS Monaco superstar Aurelien Tchouameni.
According to Foot Mercato, Mauricio Pochettino’s side are interested in the French midfielder, who this season has been exceptional in Ligue 1 and has attracted suitors from some of Europe’s biggest clubs.
As per the report, Liverpool and Real Madrid are keeping tabs on Tchouameni, whilst Marca report that City, as well as Manchester United and Chelsea, have made contact with Monaco over signing the 22-year-old superstar.
With Monaco eager to listen to offers for their latest breakout talent, Tchouameni could quickly become the centre of attention for many clubs, and now, PSG are looking to sign the midfielder.
Despite Paris’ dominance in Ligue 1, the French club rarely sign domestic players, with PSG’s last signing coming in the form of Kylian Mbappe, also from Monaco, and Tchouameni could well be next on the list.
The club are set to undergo a massive change in the summer following PSG’s latest Champions League collapse, and Tchouameni could be viewed as a potential midfield signing if they can beat the likes of Liverpool and City to the youngster’s signing.
PSG interest in Tchouameni is a huge blow for Liverpool and City

Hailed as ‘a complete midfielder’ by Monaco sporting director Paul Mitchell, Tchouameni’s rise this season has been impressive on multiple levels, and with PSG now interested, Liverpool and City could face a mountain this summer to land the French international.
As per Sport, Monaco will be open to selling Tchouameni for €60m (£50m), a fee PSG will have no trouble in reaching for the talented dynamo. And if they progress with their interest, Liverpool and City could easily find themselves blown out of the water for the midfielder this summer.
