Andre Villas-Boas stated that Harry Kane may have to leave Tottenham.

Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has told Tuesday’s press conference, as quoted by Football London, that Harry Kane is happy at Spurs despite Andre Villas-Boas’ comments over the striker’s future.
The 24-year-old has continued to gain admirers in the form of Europe’s biggest sides, with Real Madrid being repeatedly linked with a move for the former Leicester City, Millwall and Leyton Orient loanee.
Villas-Boas, who managed Kane and Spurs for a year and a half between the summer of 2012 and December 2013, stated in an interview with Hotspur Way that if Kane “has hunger for trophies, he will have to leave Spurs.”

Pochettino was asked about his predecessor’s comments in Tuesday’s press conference ahead of Wednesday’s FA Cup replay against Rochdale, and he stated he had no reaction before underlining Kane’s happiness at Spurs.
“No reaction,” Pochettino said, when asked about Villas-Boas comments. “I respect all the opinions but we’re here not only to develop, help the club and achieve what the club wants, if it’s possible to win titles.
“Harry is happy here, of course Harry wants to win titles like us and our supporters, but I respect all opinions of course.”

Kane has continued his immense goalscoring form with 35 strikes in just 36 league and cup outings, after finding the back of the net late on against Crystal Palace on Sunday to win 1-0 at Selhurst Park.
He is likely to be rested on Wednesday night as Spurs finally look to book themselves in the FA Cup quarter finals with a win over League One side Rochdale, where they will meet the winners of Tuesday night’s replay between Swansea City and Sheffield Wednesday.
