Pochettino back to Spurs has began to trend as Tottenham fans express a desire to see the Argentine return to N17.
The Daily Mail believe Antonio Conte is not interested in extending his contract in north London, with his current terms set to expire at the end of the season.
It is also said that those in the boardroom at Tottenham are not particularly keen on handing the Italian an extension based on the performance levels so far this term.
Now, an interesting update has emerged in The Athletic.
What’s the story?
Well, the hugely reliable Jack Pitt-Brooke, one of the best for Tottenham news, believes Pochettino is interested in returning to Spurs, and a reunion also appeals to those in the club’s boardroom.
The South American has been unemployed since receiving his P45 at Paris Saint-Germain back in July, where he was replaced by Christophe Galtier.
Pochettino recently revealed that he is in London when posting an Instagram photo of himself alongside his wife, so he seemingly would not have to uproot his life to return to Spurs.

Pitt-Brooke adds that Tottenham tried to bring the 51-year-old back less than two years ago when he was just six months into his contract at PSG.
However, the French giants were in no mood to cause further disruption at the Parc des Princes and did not entertain the situation, even though it is said that the opportunity tugged at Pochettino’s heartstrings.
Pochettino back to Spurs makes sense for everyone involved
At the end of the day, football isn’t about brand deals, or shiny new stadiums, or the best training facilities.
It is about believing in something, feeling a connection to those within the club and being able to dream of something special happening.
Pochettino managed to achieve that during his five years at Tottenham, taking Spurs all the way to the Champions League final in 2019 in what was one of the most remarkable runs the competition has ever witnessed.
The Argentine is a hugely likeable man, as well as a top coach who boasts a clear track record of improving players.
With fans angrier than ever at Daniel Levy, this should be a no brainer of a decision for the Tottenham chief.
