Paul Pogba reportedly visited Al-Ittihad’s facilities over the weekend, with rumours swirling that the former Manchester United midfielder will become the latest high-profile player to make the move to Saudi Arabia.
The Frenchman, who only played 111 minutes of Serie A football since his return to Juventus from Manchester United in the summer of 2022, has had a torrid record with injuries in his second spell at the Italian club.
According to Goal Italia’s Romeo Agresti, Pogba visited Al-Ittihad’s facilities over the weekend, with the Saudi Arabian side, currently managed by former Tottenham Hotspur head coach Nuno, reportedly interested in the 30-year-old.
Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano has backed up Agresti’s claims that the midfielder was in the Middle East, but his sources from Pogba’s side have denied that the midfielder was there for talks over a move.
To add more to the situation, Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio claims that Al-Ittihad are prepared to offer a mega contract for the midfielder, but the Frenchman has yet to decide his future.
Pogba could become the next high-profile player to make the move to Saudi Arabia
Following the move of Cristiano Ronaldo to Al-Nassr back in January, multiple high-profile players have made the move such as Karim Benzema and N’Golo Kante, and Pogba could be set to become the next player to make the switch.

Pogba, according to Di Marzio, would be offered €100 million (£85 million) over his contract length, which would be a three-year deal.
An incredible draw seems to be the huge amount of money on offer to these players, who may well be coming toward the end of their careers.
It’s not just players making the move, it’s managers too.
Former Rangers and Aston Villa boss Steven Gerrard has recently made the move to Al-Ettifaq, as has Santo.
It will be interesting to see if Pogba makes the move and links up with his national teammates in Kante and Benzema and fight for the Saudi pro league title.
