Tottenham and Everton target Nicolo Zaniolo has seen things change drastically for him at Roma following his antics in the January transfer window.
The Italy international missed training on deadline day against the wishes of Roma – according to Alfredo Pedulla – as he attempted to leave the Italian giants.
Dharmesh Sheth of Sky Sports claimed that Tottenham were keen to sign Zaniolo in January, while Tutto Mercato Web revealed that Everton made a late, unsuccessful move.
Now, after a bunch of furious Roma fans turned up outside the 23-year-old’s house, there has been another dramatic development.
What’s the story?
Well, as a result of his behaviour in trying to force an exit from Rome, Zaniolo has now had his name and photo removed from the dressing room at Roma’s training ground.
That is according to Calciomercato in Italy.

The Italian news outlet add that the situation seems “truly irrepairable” for Zaniolo, with the Italy international told he is no longer welcome at the Stadio Olimpico.
It comes after Football Italia claimed that the Roma No.22 will not play for the club again this season, with José Mourinho far from pleased by the attacker’s behaviour.
Zaniolo news is good for Tottenham & Everton
In our view, while this situation is surely difficult for Zaniolo to deal with, it is positive news for Tottenham and Everton in regards to their hopes of signing him.
By the sounds of it, Roma cannot wait to get rid of the Italian, so it may be worth Fabio Paratici and Kevin Thelwell – Director of Football at Tottenham and Everton respectively – attempting to strike some kind of agreement now ahead of a summer move.
Zaniolo will only have 12 months remaining on his contract at the end of the season anyway, and the way things are going in Rome, we wouldn’t be surprised to see an early termination of his deal this summer.
