Chelsea – Liverpool is under an hour away and Adrian has issued a rallying call on Instagram.

Liverpool take on Thomas Tuchel’s outfit in an FA Cup final at Wembley in search of completing part two of a potential quadruple, having already beaten the Blues to Carabao Cup glory earlier in 2022.

Reds boss Jurgen Klopp lavished praise on goalkeeper Adrian last week for in his role in helping non-English-speaking Luis Diaz adapt to life at Anfield, following a £49 million January move from Porto.

The veteran goalkeeper hasn’t kicked a ball under Klopp since way back in October.

But the former West Ham keeper has a big role to play behind the scenes, a role he’s set to continue to the very end.

Despite being left out of the Liverpool squad today, Adrian is still with his teammates in person.

And we know this because the Spaniard uploaded a video on Instagram of the Merseysiders arriving at Wembley this afternoon.

Chelsea – Liverpool

Despite Klopp’s pre-match comments, Liverpool are definitely favourites.

It’s true that neither team has beaten each other in the Premier League this season, but the Anfield outfit are clearly a level above their West London rivals.

We know this because Klopp’s troops are in contention to win four competitions this season and this would be the Blues’ only piece of silverware, if they can get it done.

Class

As for Adrian, well this sums up what a class act he is away from the pitch.

The 35-year-old, who was at Villa Park in midweek, continues to travel with his teammates wherever they go despite the fact that he’s never going to play for Liverpool again.

He is the very epitome of a team player and he’ll be cheering on his colleagues as much as any Red supporter at Wembley.
