Newcastle United have reportedly been offered the chance to sign Pedro, but the Magpies could miss out on the Chelsea winger to Juventus.

The Chronicle recently claimed that Pedro has been offered to Newcastle as a transfer target this summer (click here to read more).

The former Barcelona winger is out of contract at Chelsea at the end of next month, and no new deal is in place.

Pedro would be a superb addition to the current Newcastle team, but it seems that the Magpies have some stiff competition.

According to a report in Goal.com, Juventus are interested in signing Pedro on a free transfer this summer.

Juventus head coach Maurizio Sarri worked with the Spain international at Chelsea, and wants to bring the 32-year-old to the Italian club, according to the report.

Pedro played with Lionel Messi at Barcelona, and now he could be a teammate of Cristiano Ronaldo, who has been on the books of Juve since 2018.

The Chelsea winger has scored one goal and provided one assist in nine Premier League matches, and has played 96 minutes in the Champions League so far this season, according to WhoScored.
