Liverpool have a very good and strong attacking unit, and it is now being reported that Jurgen Klopp’s side could get even better.

According to Italian journalist Valter De Maggio in Area Napoli, there is an agreement between Liverpool and Victor Osimhen.

De Maggio has claimed that Osimhen has an agreement in place with Liverpool.

The reporter has added that Liverpool have no such deal in place with Napoli.

De Maggio has noted that Napoli may not be able to keep the striker until the end of the season, suggesting that a transfer could happen in January.

The journalist said, as translated by SportWitness: “The parties had reached an agreement for the renewal, but then Calenda and Osimhen went back on their word. 

“What happened? There was the inclusion of another club, from the Premier League. I’m talking about Liverpool.

“There would be frequent contacts, but I just learned something else: there would be agreements already reached.

“Let me clarify: the agreements would be between the Reds and the player, therefore they would not involve Napoli.

“I hope Laurentiis will be able to keep Victor Osimhen at least until June, but we can’t be sure.”

I personally do not think that Liverpool will be able to sign Victor Osimhen from Napoli in the January transfer window.

Napoli are aiming to win the Serie A title for the second season in a row and are also playing in the UEFA Champions League.

I do not see the Italian club selling any of their best players in the middle of the season, and that includes Osimhen.

But, just imagine Osimhen in the Liverpool attack.

I believe that Liverpool could become unstoppable with the striker in their team.

Mohamed Salah is banging in the goals for fun.

Luis Diaz is a very potent winger, while Darwin Nunez can only get better.

Cody Gakpo and Diogo Jota are also good options for Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp.

Add Osimhen into the mix, and I really do not think how Liverpool do not score two or three goals every game.

Osimhen is one of the best strikers in the world and is only going to get better.

The 24-year-old has scored six goals in seven Serie A starts for Napoli this season.

The Nigeria international striker scored 26 goals and gave four assists in 30 Serie A starts and scored five goals in five UEFA Champions League starts for Napoli last season.
