Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool have been linked with Victor Osimhen, but they are facing competition from Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal and Mauricio Pochettino’s Chelsea for the Napoli striker.
According to 90min, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal all are interested in signing Victor Osimhen from Napoli.
Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal in talks over Napoli striker Victor Osimhen
The report has claimed that Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool “have been engaged in conversations” with “intermediaries” working on Osimhen’s behalf.
Napoli are trying to convince the striker to sign a new deal.
Osimhen is out of contract at the Serie A champions in the summer of 2025.

The striker, who was described as “incredible” by former Liverpool and Manchester City player Mario Balotelli on Instagram in May 2023, is one of the best in the world in his position.
The 24-year-old has scored six goals in seven Serie A starts for Napoli this season.
The Nigeria international striker scored 26 goals and gave four assists in 30 Serie A starts and scored five goals in five UEFA Champions League starts for Napoli last season.
My View: Chelsea need Victor Osimhen more than Liverpool
In my view, Chelsea need Victor Osimhen more than Liverpool do.
Yes, Nicolas Jackson and Armando Broja are good strikers, but they are very young and are still developing.
Osimhen is more advanced in his career and is ready to take the next step.
The Nigeria international has been a success in Serie A and has done well in the UEFA Champions League.
Liverpool have a very good attacking unit.
Darwin Nunez could develop into a superb striker.
I do not think that Liverpool need a number 9.
Of course, Osimhen would give Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp a very good option upfront, but they do not need him.
Chelsea do.
