Liverpool and Arsenal both missed out on a deal to sign Brazilian sensation Endrick from Palmeiras in January.

Both Jürgen Klopp and Mikel Arteta wanted to sign the South American wonderkid – according to The Times – although they eventually lost out to Real Madrid.

The Spanish giants remarkably spent €72m (£62m) to sign the 16-year-old, who will officially move to the Santiago Bernabeu when he turns 18.

However, it could now be argued that Endrick is feeling the pressure after his huge transfer.

What’s the story?

Well, the Liverpool and Arsenal target has gone ten games without a goal since the start of the Brazilian season.

Endrick only has one assist and two yellow cards to show across ten appearances for Palmeiras so far this term, which may have those at Real Madrid concerned that they’ve knocked him out of his rhythm.

It comes after the teenage superstar scored 12 goals in 21 appearances last season, while also providing one assist as he made Europe’s elite sit up and take notice of his extraordinary talent.

Liverpool & Arsenal target Endrick will surely rediscover his form

Despite suffering a blip since his move to Real Madrid was confirmed, we are confident that Endrick will rediscover his goalscoring touch in no time.

The Palmeiras No.16 – who Gary Lineker described as a “very special talent” – has bundles of ability, and with plenty of time on his side, he could go on to become one of the best around.

Even Vinicius Junior – one of the best forwards on the planet nowadays – had a difficult spell after Real Madrid signed him from Flamengo.

Every player suffers difficult spells in front of goal – even those at the summit of football – so as long as Endrick stays focused and continues to work on his game, his goalscoring drought surely won’t last long.
