Fabrizio Romano has reported on Twitter that Destiny Udogie will land in London tonight to complete his move to Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur from Udinese.
The well-known and well-respected journalist has claimed on the social networking site that Udogie will undergo a medical at Tottenham early next week.
The Italian left-back will sign a five-year contract with Tottenham and stay on loan at Udinese for this season, according to Romano.
Tottenham Hotspur to sign Destiny Udogie from Udinese
One for the future
That Tottenham Hotspur are willing to let Destiny Udogie stay on loan at Udinese this season indicates that they see him as one for the future and not a player who can make an immediate impact at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
After all, Udogie is only 19 now, and he is just starting his professional club football career.

It would make sense for the Italy Under-21 international left-back to continue his development in Serie A.
Udogie was a regular for Udinese during his loan spell from Hellas Verona last campaign.
The left-back made 29 starts and six substitute appearances in Serie A last season.
Udogie scored five goals and provided four assists in those games.
